DOTAS — Damage Over Time Analysis Software
Every inspection you have ever commissioned answered one question: what does this asset look like today? DOTAS answers the one that actually drives budget — how fast is it getting worse, and when does it cross the line?
DOTAS ingests repeat captures of the same asset, spatially aligns them to a fixed baseline, and reports change per element over time. It is our own software, developed in-house, and it produces reporting that has not existed in this industry before.

Every subsequent flight is registered back to the original capture, so a 3 mm crack extension in year three is measured against year one — not re-estimated by eye.
DOTAS tracks the individual panel, sheet, weld, blade or sleeper. You get a defect history for each element, and a portfolio roll-up above it.
With enough captures the model projects when an element crosses your intervention threshold, which turns reactive maintenance into a planned budget line.
High-risk assets · Safety in delivery
High-rise facades, industrial roofs, silos, bridges, transmission structures, rail corridors, wind turbines, solar farms. These are exactly the assets that need a condition report or an ongoing DOTAS program — and exactly the assets that traditionally put a person in a harness, on a rope, in a boom lift or on a roof edge to get one.
A drone removes that exposure entirely. Nobody goes to height. The asset stays in service. The report comes back with more coverage than a person could physically reach, and every frame is geotagged so you can prove where it came from.

Where the risk assessment for a manual inspection is the reason it keeps getting deferred, a drone gets you the report without the paperwork, the permit and the exposure.
A degradation program means returning to the same asset again and again. With traditional access, each return is a fresh mobilisation and a fresh risk. With RTK-repeatable flight paths, it is the same safe pass every time.
The WHS hierarchy of controls puts elimination above every other measure. Removing the need to work at height is elimination — not a harness, a permit or a hope that the control holds.
Custom drone software
Most drone operators buy a platform and work within its limits. We build ours — the capture apps, the AI detection models and the reporting engines. That is why our reports look the way they do, why we can turn them around in days rather than weeks, and why we can shape a capture-to-report pipeline around an asset class nobody has tooled for yet.
Our software runs behind building inspections, building degradation reporting, thermal reporting, and roof and solar inspections. Each one has its own detection model, its own defect taxonomy and its own report structure, because a cracked precast panel, a delaminating membrane and a hot cell in a PV string are not the same problem and should not be reported as though they were.
Everything is trained on Australian assets, captured by our own pilots, under Australian conditions. When a client needs something our tooling does not yet cover, we build it rather than telling them it cannot be done.

The Drone Wash Co · Precision cleaning technology
Our laser graffiti removal technology provides a modern, environmentally responsible solution for removing graffiti from a wide range of building surfaces. Unlike traditional methods that rely on chemicals, sandblasting or high-pressure washing, laser cleaning uses concentrated pulses of light to selectively remove unwanted paint while minimising impact on the underlying surface.
The laser directs controlled pulses of light onto the graffiti coating. The paint absorbs the laser energy, causing it to rapidly break down and separate from the surface beneath. The removed material is converted into fine particles and vapour, which can be safely extracted using specialised dust collection systems where required.
Because the process is highly targeted, surrounding areas remain largely unaffected, making laser cleaning suitable for delicate architectural finishes and heritage applications when performed correctly.

Laser cleaning significantly reduces the need for chemical solvents and minimises water usage, making it an environmentally conscious alternative for many graffiti removal applications.
Every project begins with an assessment of the graffiti, coating type and substrate to determine the safest and most effective removal method. Where laser cleaning is appropriate, we aim to restore surfaces while minimising the risk of damage to the underlying material.
Each substrate should be assessed individually to determine the most appropriate cleaning method and laser settings. Where laser cleaning is not the right fit, we will say so and recommend high-pressure washing or another method instead.

We confirm the asset, access, airspace and any CASA approvals needed, then lock a flight window with your site contact.
A certified pilot flies a planned grid. RGB, thermal and RTK positioning as the job requires, with every frame geotagged.
Our software processes the capture, flags defects, and — where a baseline exists — runs the DOTAS time comparison.
You receive an annotated report with findings, measurements, recommendations and the source imagery behind every claim.

Drone Projects Pty Ltd has operated since 28 April 2022. In that time we have delivered over 2,400 roof reports and more than 480 thermal reports for builders, insurers, strata managers and asset owners.
We hold a Remote Operator Certificate issued by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority. Every flight is conducted by a certified pilot under our operations manual.
We guarantee every job we deliver. If a report misses something we should have caught, we return to the asset and correct it at our cost.
